A Non-Profit Corporation formed in Nevada on April 16, 2007

Symphony Animal Foundation (SAF) was founded by Laraine Harper and was inspired by and is named in memory of her two St. Bernards ,”Beethoven” and “Mozart”. Beethoven lived a wonderful life, worked as a therapy dog for 8 years, and passed at the age of 14 1/2 years. Mozart died of bone cancer at age of 11.

Symphony Animal Foundation is a “no kill” facility which provides a safe haven for ALL animals. SAF was founded as the need for this type of facility in the Southern Nevada area is imperative. There are no “no kill” facilities in the Pahrump or Las Vegas areas. Although there are “breed specific” rescues in these areas, there are no facilities which welcomes all animals, regardless of breed or species. The desert tends to be a popular dumping ground for unwanted and abandoned animals. SAF offers a much needed alternative to this inhumane act with a “no questions asked” policy in place.

SAF is a proactive organization with a cutting-edge approach to animal adoption. SAF will host a variety of events, such as concerts, holiday events, car shows, bike shows fashion show, ect., in an effort to not only invite visitors to enjoy the festivities, but to see and familiarize themselves with the animals who are looking for forever homes. SAF will be very active in the communities of Pahrump and Las Vegas and will educate the public as to the proper care and treatment of animals.

SAF’s Federal Tax Exempt number is 20-8967065. All donations are tax deductible. Your tax deductible donations will help SAF reach their goal of securing the land that they need, for all animals in need.

Please help us, help them.
